We had actions for the kids with the first block of songs for the first time in a while. Instead of leading from the stage, Sierra was towards the front of church. That seemed to go well.

Andy was preaching on 2 Tim 2 and happily a song I've been working on for the past few weeks fit very well in response. 'We Come to Hear Your Word' is actually a song to prepare us for hearing the Word but it picks up some of what Andy had been saying. After quite a tortuous process refining the chorus, it was great to feel the song connecting well in the room. I'll be putting up a demo and chord sheet sometime in the next few weeks.
