Morning Worship at Kings

The first Sunday of the new Uni year, unexpectedly at the High School again instead of the DSU, and my sixth time leading worship in a week. Phew!

On these Sundays with so many visitors I like to give a representative account of how we shape worship at Kings. The opening set was closely centred on the Cross; I led an old hymn, a new hymn, an old contemporary song and a new contemporary song; we had Scripture read, I encouraged contributions from the room and led with some spontaneous singing. A good blend!

Mark preached on Daniel 2. We had a few good spoken contributions afterwards, and we responded singing about the everlasting kingdom.
