Sunday evening at Kings

Evening Worship begins again after the summer break.

To be honest, I was pretty exhausted after leading this morning. The evening went well enough, but I didn't have the same sense of mojo as this morning. Nevertheless, I had a good sense of the main emphasis in the opening block - that we should give ourselves wholly to God and live Gospel lives.

Mark began a new series on 1 Corinthians. This evening was about the centrality of the Cross. Things clicked a lot more in response. There was a good depth in songs and prayer and contributions.
