Sunday morning at Kings

It's four weeks since I last led at Kings. Among other things, I've been down at the Ichthus Revive week at Ashburnham.

I always find it a little strange coming back from the enthusiasm of a week like Revive into the midst of the August sleepiness here in Durham. It was a good meeting this morning, but still quite a contrast.

Our numbers are fairly high even on these August Sundays. Perhaps 200 today, compared with not much more than 20 when I first joined Kings.

I had two new musicians joining the band.

Mark was preaching on 1 Pet 4, which led into a good response about looking forward to Christ's return and living in that light in the meantime.

'Saviour of the world' into 'Adoration' worked surprisingly well.
