A similar setlist to last Sunday evening, but a very different service.

Last week was atmospheric and almost downbeat. This morning was full of fun and laughter. (The kids drama was probably a key factor in that._

I missed having a brass section this morning. We've had a brass band for several years now, but the Uni term finished on Friday so most of our brass players have gone home. But we had a string duo step in instead.

It was good to play carols for the second week in a row. We came up with some good arrangements last Sunday and I was glad to further develop them.

Almost every year we open with 'O come, all ye faithful' and close with 'Hark, the herald'. I sometimes want to switch things up but they're such great carols and fit so naturally in those slots.

I'm about ready for Christmas now!
