Into quiet summer season. I feel challenged that we shouldn't fall asleep in these weeks, and instead be renewed in grace.

I taught a new song that I've been working on. Worship the Lord - a version of Psalm 100. My intention was to write a solid, up-tempo call-to-worship and I think this is going to fit the bill. I'm still deciding which key to go for, but it seemed to go well in G today.

Mark preached a great sermon on the way of the cross and blind Bartimaeus, which offered so many response options. I actually found it hard to decide which direction to take. But all the threads came together well this morning.
