Sunday evening at Kings

A slightly odd one. Only a couple of hours before the start we found out that there was no heating at our usual venue so we switched to the Appleby Rooms. I stripped the band right back and completely changed my setlist. As so often happens when something unexpected occurs, the meeting really lifted.

I used 'Good, Good Father' after testimonies. I still haven't quite cracked leading it, but it's clearly a very popular song.

For all our frustrations with the limited space, it was kind of nice being back in our own venue.
