A good morning objectively, but hard work for me personally.

A collection of minor frustrations added up over the hours before the meeting and I was not able to shake a general feeling of dissatisfaction with how things were going. But I've learned not to be overwhelmed by that sort of thing and I just pressed on with the task at hand: leading songs and directing people's focus towards God. As I've often said here, feelings are really not the right measurement anything in ministry, and through Christ we don't have to be mastered by them.

Mark preached a powerful sermon from Jeremiah 32, and I was back on track for the response block.

My song 'We will trust in God our Saviour' is going well with the congregation. I should have a recording of it out this week...
