A rather chaotic rehearsal this morning for various reasons but it all came together for the meetings. We celebrated three baptisms this morning. That's always a gift!

Conscious of the likelihood that there would be plenty of visitors for the baptisms, I chose a set of songs that patiently explained the Gospel. It's always healthy for us to centre around that story anyway.

I was intending to give a more definite nod towards the beginning of Advent today with 'Come, Though Long Expected Jesus' at the end of the meeting, but sadly we ran out of time.

'This I Believe' is fast on its way to becoming a Kings favourite. It's so powerful to sing truths from the Apostles Creed together, and the tune is very accessible.
