An excellent morning. Lots of rich words, and lots of rich space too.

That was the first time I've led 'Join all the glorious names' since I discovered that I'd been singing the melody slightly wrong. Perhaps it's not a coincidence that that's the best it's ever gone.

For some reason we were running so early after the first block that Mark asked for an extra song before the sermon. We sang 'Speak, O Lord' - a veritable Kings standard for such moments.

The sermon was on Daniel 7, so 'And he shall reign' was a no-brainer for leading into response. Graham Kendrick has managed to do a measure of justice to a very deep chapter with that song - he really is an excellent hymn-writer.

We then took things right down for an awed response with 'We bow down'. We could have sung over the last two lines of that song for a long time, there was such a sense of reverence in the room.

People brought good contributions, and 'You grace is enough' brought the themes together very well.
