A dramatic week. Protests around the world as lockdown continues.

With some in our congregation experiencing strong personal distress about racism, it was vital to make room for that this week. I led a set of Kings standards, with a thread of extemporary cries for the justice and grace of the kingdom. I was very conscious of the limitations of my ability and the range of our lyrics this week.

It was a strange one for me as well, because I'm about to go on furlough for three weeks. Ministry has been so intense over the past months. I'm grateful for the opportunity to take a deep breath.
